Eileen has been practicing law in the Western suburbs for 23 years. She has been concentrating her practice in Elder Law for the past seventeen years.
Eileen received her law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1985 and was admitted to the Illinois and Indiana Bars that same year. She received her Master’s degree in taxation from John Marshall Law School in 2002, with a concentration in estate planning. Eileen also attends numerous legal education seminars to keep up-to-date on the ever changing elder related laws.
Eileen’s initial interest in Elder Law developed from the satisfaction she felt after helping people make smart decisions about growing older. She provides Elder Law services so that her clients can speak with an attorney who is experienced with and cares about the elderly.
In Eileen’s opinion, the growing population of older people, as well as their caregivers, need to plan for the future. Lack of planning often results in clients incurring unnecessary expenses, as well as leaving family members in a crisis situation.
